Brief Description: Standard Response Protocal / Standard Reunification Method

Full Description: "I Love U Guys" foundation's program for crisis response and post-crisis reunification is used in more than 78000 schools, districts, departments, agencies, organizations, and communities around the world.

They are created through the research-based best practices of school administrators, psychologists, public space safety experts, families, and first responders.

The Full Day Train the Trainer Workshop introduces participants to the history, concepts and functionality of the SRP and SRM and how to train the programs internally. Participants will walk away from the workshop with a deep understanding of how the SRP provides a proven, action-based enhancement to all-hazards school safety planning.

After learning about the five actions of the SRP, and their associated directives, participants will be able to implement the program and enhance the safety plans of their school/district.

Additionally, participants will gain an understanding of the proven methods for planning, practicing and achieving a successful reunification using the SRM. They will leave the workshop with the ability to organize a reunification team in their school/district and create an effective reunification plan.

Resources Required: The training is open to all school staff, law enforcement, first responders, emergency managers, school safety professionals, and all those responsible for keeping students and staff safe.

Reporting Instructions: This course is not through LET. The student or agency is responsible for reporting continuing education hours.
