Grant Training - NSA - Court Room Security Training - Davison County

Full Description: Courtroom security has become increasingly more important in recent years and this is a training class that will be able to help many agencies be more proactive in providing it.

This is a 2 day training course that trains in 7 modules. These modules are:

1. Introduction and Overview
2. The Essential Components and Best Practices
3. Professionalism
4. High Profile and High Risk Cases
5. Incidents
6. Report on Courthouse Violence
7. Judging Program Results

A strength of the NSA Court Security Training program is the quality of the presenters. They all have actual experience in court security and have been in leadership positions. This enables them to use their own real world experiences to give examples of practical solutions to actual challenges. In addition, it is the presenters who have developed the content of the program and who are continually updating and revising the presentation. In addition to being experienced court security professionals they have years of experience as presenters, not only in court security but other subjects such as work place violence, leadership, use of force, defensive tactics and ethics in law enforcement, all of which are incorporated in the program. Invariably, among the favorable comments in the critiques completed by attendees is the real experiences that the presenters incorporate into the program. See the attached presenter biographies.
